Gear case is of streamlined design, rugged in
construction, made of close-grain cast iron. It is
completely oil-tight, dust-proof and capable of
being installed in the open without a separate
cover. The faces and bores are accurately bored
and machined on latest precision machines to
ensure perfect alignment and interchangeability. |
The entire design is based mainly on BS : 721 and accuracy to
class "A" limits.The worm integral with its shaft, is carefully generated from a
nickel alloy steel, case hardened on the threads, precision
ground and polished to very fine tolerances.
